UEM provides a wide range of project management services for public- and private-sector clients. UEM has assisted in projects of various types and scopes, from the planning stage to project completion. UEM Project Managers bring leadership, experience, energy and innovation to projects, resulting in successful completion on time and within approved budgets.
UEM has provided project management services for many different assignments including large, complex public facilities, golf courses, and as Owner Representatives on engineering infrastructure projects. We bring experience, practical knowledge and timely advice to our clients. Our enthusiasm to complete projects and our positive relationship with designers, contractors and our clients are critical to our success.
Communication and dispute resolution skills are necessary traits in a successful Project Manager. UEM assumes an independent role to ensure that project issues and concerns are facilitated in a fair and consistent manner. With this approach, project stakeholders maintain a legitimate role in project development.
UEM's comprehensive approach to project management is best represented by the range of services provided and the project responsibilities we will assume. UEM is often assigned leadership for:
- Developing and managing project work programs, schedules and budgets;
- Facilitating resolutions to project issues between stakeholders, the public, and government agencies;
- Organizing information to assist decision-makers and reporting to Councils/Boards of Directors and Senior Managers on project status and issues;
- Developing internal and external communications strategies to ensure that decision-makers remain informed and that the project message is accurate, consistent and timely;
- Coordinating the delivery of other professional services such as architectural, engineering, planning and legal services;
- Leading specific project tasks including site selection, approvals, community consultation and selection of other professional services.
UEM's project management services include oversight of conventional and alternative service delivery approaches. We have been involved in private sector delivery of design/build projects and alternative project financing and project operations. We provide clients with the background necessary to decide on the most appropriate service delivery approach. UEM makes a difference on all of its projects.
