Bridge Street Landfill, Regional Municipality of Niagara, Fort Erie ON
 UEM competed the detailed design of a number of new cells, a perimeter leachate collection system, underdrain system, pump station, forcemain, finger drains, road improvements, capacity optimization, sewer extension, scale house entrance way, compost pad and associated storm water control works, design brief, contract documents, project management, and all associated OWRA and EPA approvals, contract administration and inspection during construction.
Elm Street Landfill, Regional Municipality of Niagara, Port Colborne ON
 UEM prepared the detailed design of the Phase II and III Leachate Collection System, four stormwater management ponds, clay barrier walls adjacent to a new landfill cell, geomembrane barrier walls adjacent to the existing fill area where the leachate system was required, waste relocation plans, hydraulic finger drains, access roads, etc.
Canborough Landfill, Haldimand County
UEM is currently completing the detailed design of the Canborough Landfill including remoulded clay liner, leachate management system, roads, screening berms, pump station and holding tanks. The site is scheduled to re-open in 2010.
Work includes project management, coordination of specialist consultants and the approvals process under the EPA and OWRA.
